Okay, I'm done defending these. This show wanted to have vampires sucking blood out of tits, so it had it. And absolutely nobody was happy about it.

Oh, he's giving her some tea. Well that's a reasonable thing for one person to do to one another. I'm sure that this common cultural ritual in Japan will be respected and will just be window dressing in an otherwise horrible scene.
Oh, or he could put some kinda drug in it for no reason whatsoever other than to be a total asshole.

I just wanted to point out how weird the balance looks in this picture. I think it's just cause of the dutch angle but it looks off.
I'm really not clear on the romance of this shot. I'm really not clear on the purpose of this shot.
